We Like Hanging Out With Farmers

Man with long grey beard wearing all black including black hat socks and shoes pouring cup of coffee out of a carafe to an older gentleman wearing all blue over a table covered in burlap underneath a red tent open on all four sides

Dedham Farmers Market

We've been roasting our own coffee in our Jamaica Plain headquarters for 25 years now. Funny thing though...we meet a lot of people who don't know that! They know we serve coffee but they have no idea we roast our own beans. Newsletters and social media posts can only communicate to people who look at them so we decided to go old school and meet people IN PERSON! And what better place to meet people looking to shop local and shop fresh than at a Farmers Market! During the last week of August, our roaster Hank headed over to the Dedham Farmers Market and set up a tent next to fresh bread baked right in Dedham, fresh produce, grown on nearby farms, a live musician, local artistans, and so much more! He served up samples of our cold brew and hot brewed coffee. Hank selected the beans we use for our cold brew themselves - a Honduras bean that he thinks takes the taste of our cold brew to the next level.

We met A LOT of new people. Every single one of them knew we make and serve our own ice cream and had initially come over to our tent to see if we were scooping. But Hank quickly turned the conversation to our coffee and his 17 years of roasting. Given the heat of the day, most people requested to try our cold brew and then proceeded to purchase a bag of beans to take home or made promises to try a cup the next time they stopped in for ice cream. We had a blast and love introducing people to our coffee which we work so hard to provide fresh to you.

So keep an eye out for us at your next farmers market...or stop into your neighborhood store for a cup of joe or a bag of beans anytime!
