Awwwww Shucks!

We've teamed up with "Shucked," the award winning musical comedy about love and corn! Coming to Boston this April, we created the corniest of ice creams to match this corniest of musicals. Watch our social media for information about tickets!

Celtics Pride

We love our Celtics so much, we made a flavor to honor them! Try this golden vanilla ice cream with a touch of caramel and sea salt. A green marshmallow ripple makes this flavor a slam dunk.

Partnering with ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2025

World039s Swirl Ice Cream blue colored, small scoop with spoon in small cup on ice rink with white ice skate behind it.

We are beyond thrilled to announce our collaboration with the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2025. In celebration of the championships making their way to our city along with the best of the best world figure skaters... we have dropped a new, exclusive flavor: The World's Swirl !

The 2025 ISU Championships with count as the 14th US hosting of the event. And the second visit to Boston by the championships from 2016 being the first. The 2016 championship housed almost 108,000 fans to attend in person. This event is nothing short of spectacular with more that 300 million viewers tuning in from all over the world to watch 200 of the best figure skaters from 50 different countries (isuworlds2025.com).

The World Figure Skating Championships started back in 1896 in St. Petersburg only for men. The first ISU championships for women started in 1906, and the World Championships for women in 1924 along with the first ISU Championships for pairs. However, the first ever ISU World Figure Skating Championship with all three events; men, women, and pairs, was held in New York City in 1930 (isu.org). The event has come a long way from its origins and we are nothing but honored to have the prestigious, annual championship at our city after almost a decade.

To honor and celebrate the event and all the athletes in the figure skating community, our newest flavor is a blue cake batter ice cream with delectable marshmallow swirl, featuring, The World's Swirl ! Available at all 17 stores.

Make sure to catch the 2025 ISU Figure Skating Championships at TD Garden on March 25th to the 30th.

The World's Swirl

A delicious partnership swirls around our stores and the ice skating rink! We connected with The Skating Club of Boston, the local organizing committee for the ISU World Figure Skating Championships® 2025, to create an exclusive ice cream flavor called The World’s Swirl. The flavor will be available for a limited time, from February 19th through the end of the event on March 30, 2025.

The ISU World Figure Skating Championships® 2025 will take place March 25-30 at the TD Garden. Tickets are currently on sale, and information about tickets and the event can be found at www.isuworlds2025.com. The Grinch @ J.P. Licks in Assembly Row

Man in Grinch costume green costume shrugging while holding the Grinch039s Candy Cane Ice cream in peppermint dipped cone at Assembly Row039s J.P. Licks store. Facial expression is eyes widened and licking ice cream.

Although he's got "all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile", looks like Mr.Grinch has got a sweet tooth. On Saturday December 7th, The Grinch popped into our J.P. Licks location at Assembly Row! In celebration of the Boch Center's showcase of "Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical", J.P. Licks celebrated with our Grinch's Candy Cane Ice Cream. We also provide the Grinch's Candy Cane sundae as a naughty alternative to our Santa's Candy Cane sundae.

The meet and greet with the Grinch included fun conversations and pictures with the mean one. And of course some giveaways with tons of fun J.P. Licks merch. We gave away our swag bags in our handy dandy freezer bags, in the bag was a large classic J.P. Licks Stainless Steel growler, our t-shirt, a Clementine Key Chain, our Anniversary Blend Coffee beans, and of course 2 pints of our Grinch's Candy Cane Ice Cream (all of our merch is available to purchase on our site).

Mr. Grinch had his fair share of wreaking havoc (in a fun, demure manner of course...) at our store and indulged in his candy cane ice cream on a peppermint dipped cone ( truly hoping the termites in his smile loved our ice cream & cone as well) !

We love the Grinch & we know you do to, so be sure to catch the Boch Center's "Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical" at the Boch Center Wang Theater running from December 10th to December 23rd.

Working with the Ellie Fund

Pink udder shape sticker with just four teats on a black background. White text reads quotellie fund supporting patientsamp funding careproviding hope Proudly supported by J.P. Licks

Help us support the Ellie Fund!

Several years ago, a member of our team was diagnosed with breast cancer and leaned heavily on the Ellie Fund for resources as she went through treatment. We remain grateful for her continued presence here at J.P. Licks and decided it was time to partner with the Ellie Fund as a small business. We met with members of their team last spring, looking for unique ways to help rais money and awareness for the organization, something that reflected the energy of J.P. Licks. After several conversations, we designed our first sticker available for purchase - an udder shape promoting the Ellie Fund and their work in our bright pink hue. You can already see the udder on our website - and on cows around our stores - but the double meaning of the image also appealed to us. We ordered a limited run and hope that you'll come into one of our 17 locations to purchase one. All proceeds will be donated to the Ellie Fund to support their work.

If you are being treated for breast cancer and live in Massachusetts, you are eligible to apply for assistance from the Ellie Fund. The provide financial and emotional support so you can concentrate on healing. Visit their website to apply or to support them directly. www.elliefund.org

FroJo also available in Mocha and Pumpkin

25 years of roasting our own coffee beans deserves a new drink too! Introducing The FrōJō - our newest frozen drink! We take our in-house brewed espresso beans and combine it with brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla ice cream. So grab a glass and let's toast to our coffee roasting anniversary!

Celebrating 25 Years of Coffee Roasting

We began roasting our own coffee beans in our Jamaica Plain headquarters in 1999. We're celebrating with a brand new Anniversary Blend - available now in all stores by the cup or by the bag. We combined our favorite beans from Indonesia, South America, and East Africa, creating a cup with exceptional sweetness and creaminess and notes of peach, citrus, cocoa, and sugar cane. Get sipping!
