7th Annual Sock Drive for Rosies Place

And that's a wrap ;)

J.P. Lick's has ended its 7th Annual Sock Drive and we are extremely grateful to everyone that participated. This year we collected a little over 1540 pairs of socks, the greatest total we've achieved to date! This record-high collection has us super excited for next year.

What sets this year apart from the others is a special donor named; David. We received a happy surprise from our Newton location that an individual was looking to donate 1000 pairs of socks to the drive. This donation holds the large majority of the socks collected this year and brings incredible joy and comfort to those at Rosie's Place. So...a special shout out and a heartfelt thank you to: David!

The J.P. Licks team appreciates the donations made by everyone in our community, the regulars that look forward to the drive every year, and our new folks. And to those that do not know what Rosie's Place is, let us tell you about them.

Rosie's Place is beyond just a shelter and community center for women and children. Meals, legal assistance, wellness care, job search services, and more are available. They are constantly changing lives and assisting women to receive their second chance with the necessary tools to do so. As they do not rely on government funding, volunteer opportunities are available to get involved. To learn more about Rosie's Place, check out their website below.
